Sagara Wijesinghe is a pianist, composer, arranger, teacher and performer. Performing in Sri Lanka over 15 years. He was an artist of state music ensemble of Sri Lanka.

He studied computer based music under Mr.Diliup Gabadamudalige. He studied piano under Mr.Harsha Makalande and Dr.Priyeshni Perera. He is a leading member of Premasiri Khemadasa Agni opera orchestra.

Some of the prestigious events he has performed or composed music for, are:

• Swarangananda gee amayuru in 2004. (his 1st solo public concert)
• Composed music for "serisara beach traveler" documentary series program which is now telecast on rupawahini
• Composed music for "sinhale aluth awrudda" documentary which was telecasted on Rupawahini
• Creative music directing of "ane punchi kalidasa" concert tribute to veteran artist Lushan Bulathsinghala
• Directing and performing music for more than 300 television programs
• Sagara has composed, arranged and performed music for several school anthems.(keenadeniya primary school, negombo thimbirigaskatuwa maha vidyalaya)
• Composed music for "Hithumathe Jivithe" movie
• He is the composer of “Hearing the silence Green Concert”
